MORE THAN IN ADVANCE
In 2005, Theo and Ina Verhoeven started 'Eeterij Voorafentoe'. We began as a lunchroom. Theo had already been working in the hospitality industry for 25 years and felt it was time to start something of his own—a business with his own ideas and atmosphere. The premises on the Galerij (formerly a jeweler) were completely renovated into a hospitality establishment. It was a great challenge, and we had complete freedom to transform the retail space into a dining venue from 2005. In 2015, we renovated everything once again and adapted it to modern standards. We are very attached to the Burgundian and Southern European lifestyle and food. This is clearly reflected at Voorafentoe. You can see it in the convivial atmosphere, the personal attention, and, of course, the menu. If there is time for a chat, we will certainly do so!
KITCHEN
Voorafentoe features an open kitchen, allowing you as a chef to be involved with the guests. Guests can smell and see what is happening. We work with fresh products that we prepare into delicious dishes. The menu is extensive, ranging from standard dishes everyone knows to surprising dishes for enthusiasts. We also offer vegetarian options and cater to allergies. The cuisine is Mediterranean-oriented, and you will see and taste this in the dishes.
